The typhoon/s make the people stop, clasp their hands and lift their heads. Let me ask. Now lang mo? Okay, sorry. It's a really devastating headline, but somehow it amazed me how all these support teams were gathered to support one common cause: helping the people who have lost their homes, vehicles, and family.
The absence of government action during the first few days(probably to cranial gear dysfunction and of course, it takes time to print names on cellophanes. Am I right, politicians?), did not stop these people who offered their time, effort and goods to support the victims of the calamity and to somehow try to partially provide their fundamental needs. Oh, the Filipino.
It has been approximately 36 hours since I arrived from LA, and so far every shred of news in the country (newspaper, TV, Facebook, blogs) are about Ondoy. Now I'm on the info bandwagon, so much for catching up on today's news. Thus, this blog.
I'm in no mood to talk about deep dark delusions or euphoric blogging. I'm just another Filipino (who just reclaimed her Filipino citizenship today). This is just another blog.
